← Back to projects overviewA front-end for the Prospective Lynch Syndromes Database
Aims & Objectives
The Prospective Lynch Syndromes Database (PLSD) is one of the largest databases for hereditary cancer research, compiling prospective data for carriers of pathogenic variants in mismatch repair genes. The PLSD.eu website enables intuitive, interactive exploration of risk estimates and outcomes by organ, genetic variant, age, and sex. Results are displayed as figures and tables. The design is responsive, keyboard‑accessible, optimized for readability, and very fast.
Tasks & Responsibilities
As the technical lead of the PLSD.eu website, my responsibilities focus on:
- Software architecture and UI design aligned with previous PLSD website versions
- Data organization and content structure across pages, tables, and figures
- Communication with non‑technical stakeholders to collect requirements and review wording
